Before applying through a Section 37 meeting, you need to visit our kura so we can give you information about how our school works. Contact kendra@waitaha.school.nz or maureena@waitaha.school.nz to book in a school visit. During this time we will be able to explain the process further.
Following this, you may choose to apply via a section 37 application. This must be completed by the Ministry of Education.
At Waitaha School, we recognise the limitations of being separate from mainstream education for our students. While we are aware of the challenges that segregation can present for our ākonga, we strive to provide both social and academic opportunities to help them grow, thrive, and succeed as they transition out of our kura.
